Credit application

700Credit’s secure form. It comes straight to our finance office, and nothing you type is stored on this website.

This is a full credit application.

Handled by 700Credit on their own secure site. It asks for your Social Security number and date of birth, plus employment, income and address history, and it takes your consent before any credit is pulled.

If the form does not appear, use the button above or call (847) 669-6060 and we will take it from there.

Submitting an application is not an approval and does not commit any lender. The rates advertised elsewhere on this site require qualifying.

Worth knowing before we talk

The form does not ask about these, but the finance office will: what you are trading and whether it is paid off, and roughly what you want to put down and pay each month.

Rates, incentives and how they interact

The rates on the incentives page are Ford Credit programs, bought down by Ford on selected models and terms. They are not our rates and they are not everybody’s rate. Tell our finance office which offer you are after and they will tell you whether it can apply to your purchase.

  • A Ford Credit promotional rate is a Ford Credit product. Not all buyers qualify, and the advertised rate is the best tier rather than the only one.
  • Taking the low rate can cost you some of the cash back. Ford’s own terms this month pair the smaller bonus cash with the rate and reserve the larger customer cash for the purchase route — but the rule is set per program, so ask about the one on your vehicle.
  • A headline rate is often capped: Ford has advertised 0% for 72 months limited to $10,000 financed. The cap decides what it saves you.
  • Rebates and advertised pricing here are for the Chicagoland region.
  • Tax, title, license and a $377.63 Illinois documentary fee are on top.

Finance questions

Will applying affect my credit?

The application asks for your Social Security number and your consent before any credit is pulled, so it involves a credit inquiry. If you only want to know where you stand, the free credit estimator shows your Equifax Credit Score without affecting your credit. If you would rather talk your situation through without applying yet, call us first.

Is this a prequalification?

No. It is a full credit application. If you want an idea of where you stand first, use the free credit estimator: it asks for no Social Security number or date of birth and does not affect your credit.

What happens after I submit it?

The application goes to our finance office, not to this website. Someone from the dealership follows up to talk through the vehicle and the terms. Submitting it is not an approval, and it does not commit you to buying anything or any lender to financing you.

Can I apply with a co-applicant?

Yes. Use Add Co-Applicant near the bottom of the form. The second person needs the same details as you, including their Social Security number and date of birth.

Is the application available in Spanish?

Yes. Use the En Español button at the top of the form.

Who lends the money?

Our finance office works your application with the lenders the dealership uses. Ford Credit, Ford’s own finance company, is the lender behind the advertised Ford rate programs. If you want to know which lenders apply to your situation, ask us directly rather than relying on a website to list them.

Can I deduct the interest on my car loan?

On a new vehicle bought for personal use, federal law now allows a deduction of up to $10,000 of loan interest a year, and you do not have to itemize to take it. The vehicle has to be assembled in the United States, which means a VIN starting with 1, 4 or 5, and the deduction phases out above $100,000 of income or $200,000 filing jointly. It is settled per vehicle rather than per model, so ask and we will read you the VIN off the window sticker. We are not tax advisers, so confirm the detail with whoever does your return.

Can I finance a used vehicle here?

Yes. Ford’s promotional rate programs are for new vehicles, and Ford also runs finance programs on eligible Ford Blue Advantage certified vehicles. On an ordinary used vehicle the rate depends on your credit and on the age and mileage of the car.
